For the museum's centenary, coinciding with 'Isle of Man Heritage Year', 5 stamps were released. This one shows the Meayll Circle, which is a Neolithic monument with 12 chambered tombs organized in a circle with 6 entrance passages. The excavated cremated remains, ceramics and flint tools are on view at the Manx Museum. Stamp issued: February 5th 1986.
