Kejimkujik National Park

Increased security is the hallmark of this $5 definitive stamp from 2003. Instead of the usual bar tagging, a Mi'kmaq moose petroglyph is visible under ultraviolet light. This petroglyph can also be seen on the selvage in the lower right corner. It is carved on slate in Nova Scotia's Kejimkujik National Park. This area was a canoe route hub and many other petroglyphs depicting everyday life were created there.
The PSE became available in January 2012.
