Bottom stamp is a carved head is from San Luis Potosi from the long running (1950-1975) 'Architecture and Archaeology' definitive series. The slogan cancel celebrates a 100 years of Mexican stamps in 1956.

Interestingly, this series, or part of, formed postage stationary prior to being produced on a stamp. Here is a prepaid envelope from 1947.
