Venus of Moravany

Thank you Mike! Found in a field in the 1930s this mammoth ivory Venus of Moravany figurine dates to c. 22,800 BCE. The shell beads and chert blades on this 2006 issue come from the Gravettian Culture. The freshwater shells are drilled and were found in a cave.
