Thanks Pierre for this great 2007 stamp! The brass Gaul boar banner was found on a Soulca-sur-Mer beach in 1989. It is 56cm and would have been mounted on a pole during battle. It may have been deposited due to the tradition of burying banners after fighting.
Thank you Pierre! The cachet on this 1996 card has the same banner as above. On the stamp is a Romano-Gallo bronze horse found in Neuvy-en-Sullias.
