Lindholm Hoje

Thank you Peter! These stamps are 3rd in the 'Mythical Places' series from 2008. On left is Lindholm Hoje, a Viking settlement and burial site containing c. 700 graves. Abanoned in 1200 due to the affects of deforestation, many stones have since been used for building purposes.
