Taniwha

I found this in a shop across from Stanley Gibbons flagship store when last in London. The Maori rock art image depicts Taniwha, from a limestone rock shelter along the Opihi River. Fun Fact: This 1960 definitive was the first pre-contact archaeological subject on a New Zealand stamp.
