Touristing around in Ottawa yesterday I stumbled into Ian Kimmerly Stamps and found some great covers from their huge selection! This one brings back memories when I visited Masada a few years ago. The top right stamp shows what the view may have looked like to the Roman soldiers stationed at the base. From the citadel today, you can see the the outlines of their camps. These are from a 3v 1965 issue.
The bottom left stamp shows the Banquet Room in the Northern Palace. Here is an oblique photo I took of it which has partially been repainted in original colours.
