Axum Stele

Thank you Ronald for kindly sending this whilst traveling! This pre-paid aerogramme has the granite Stele/Obelisk of Axum on it which is from a large cluster thought to mark graves. The 1,700 year old granite obelisk was broken in pieces in 1937 when Italian soldiers found it, and had it shipped to Rome. 4 million dollars and 68 years later with governmental and UN pressure, it was returned.
Duff, from the BC Philatelic Society related the following, '...issued in April 2005...the month it was repatriated.'
This was sent in 1992, but I don't know if the envelope is from the same period.
