What a great paired stamp and envelope, Thanks Zeljko! The envelope was released for the 2004 Athens Olympics,and the newly released 2012 Europa stamp shows the Apoksiomen statue. Found underwater in 1996, this 4th cent. Greek original or Roman copy shows an athlete holding a strigil, he is thought to have been jettisoned during a storm. After years of conservation, he is currently housed in the Mimara Museum in Zagreb.
