Cucuteni-Trypillian Culture

Thank you Zeljko! Fantastic cover with the National Museum of History and accompanying artifact selvage. Above left is a Chalcolithic ceramic face and a figurine from the Cucuteni-Trypillian Culture identical to the one below on cachet. This is from the 2014 'National Museums of the Republic of Moldova' issue which also featured the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Ethnology and Natural History. These were issued in mini sheets of 10 with 5 different selvage images each.
Thank you Nadya! PSE issued for the National History Museum's centenary. The cachet highlights anthropomorphic and spiraling designs which typify ceramics of the Neolithic Trypillian Culture.
Thank you Natalia for this postcard. A different view than the bull bowl above.
Thank you Ivan! The right cluster of 4 stamps are from a broken down Tourism Kiev Oblast s/s from the Beauty and Majesty of Ukraine series. The top right stamp shows a paired ceramic vessel dating c. 4500-4000 BCE from the Trypillian Culture. The vessel is in the Archaeological Museum of Kiev holdings. Issued: September 20 2015.
Thank you Aleks! Here is a joint issue with Pakistan. On left are Cucuteni-Trypillian ceramics, and a detail of a swirl motif. Issued December 25 2014.
Thank you Alyona! 2014 Maxicard.
Thank you Paleophilatelie! Oil lamp? Incense burner?
Thank you Ronald! I am only guessing these petite ceramic animals belong to this cultural type. This stamp is from the 2v Europa Toy release. Issued: April 15 2015.
Thank you Kristina! I don't know who you are, please contact me so I can send you something in return.
