Thank you Dimiter! The top left 2012 stamp celebrates the centenary of 'Discovery of Khan Kubrats Grave' found by a shepard kid, it is more commonly known as the Pereshchepina Treasure. The gold and silver hoard was not associated with any human remains, but has been attributed to the Khan from a Greek inscription found on a signet ring, 'Kubrat the Patrician'.
At right is the latest 2012 'Regions' issue, a s/s of Northwest Regions. On the lower right stamp is rock art from the Magura Cave. The 750 recorded images range from the Epipaleolithic to the Early Bronze Age and depict a variety of dancing, hunting, animal and celestial scenes.
Does anyone know where the plate and cup on UL stamp come from?
