Astuvansalmi

Thank you Ari! 2008 UNESCO FDC of the Astuvansalmi pictographs.  In a space 16.5m x 5.5m over 80 images were painted on this lake shore bedrock in human, animal, boat and elk forms with the oldest dating to c.3800-2200BCE. Artifacts were found nearby including; jewelry, statuettes and projectile points, with the most recent dating to c.500BCE.
