Thank you Josef! The ceramic Venus of Dolni Vestonice is pictured here, and must be one of the most prized acquisitions of the Moravian Museum. She was found in a layer of Upper Paleolithic ash in 1925, by the team led by Karel Absolon during excavations at Dolni Vestonice. Issued: June 21 2017.
