Lion of Babylon

Lion of Babylon block of 4 on cover from a 16v definitive set. This impressive basalt lion is carved in Hittite style, over a human figure, which is easier to see in the image below. It was unearthed in 1876 by German team and can be viewed today in the ancient city of Babylon.
