Thank you Yuri! On right is a Pleistocene elephant tusk from Holon, excavated in 1960. Not sure if this tusk is human modified, but cool anyway! Are the tusk pits thought to be from bashing from Acheulean tools? The Late Bronze Age lioness skull was however, found associated with human activities, in a Pre-Philistine temple dedicated to lions. Issued July 28 2018.
